Buderus Ecomatic HS 2105

I have a Buderus G215 4 boiler with the 2105 HS control with a room sensor. My 2105 display panel has gone on the blink and I can't read the display. The unit seems to be working somewhat as I see it go from night to day settings, etc. but the room sensor is just blinking between the auto setting and the summer setting. Any advice on what I may need to replace. I have also had a hard time finding a 2105 control unit as I am in a rural area and the expertise on this furnance is lacking. Also, I am not a technican.

Control is obsolete and has been replaced by 2107. Sounds like a bad display.

Yes, the 2105 is long gone.

I did find a 2105 advertised on the internet. Any value in buying the older unit and replacing? Or is the 2107 compatible with my GS215 4? Also, does the 2107 offer more functions or better controls (easier to program, etc.).
