cad cell failure

in Oil Heating
I have a slant fin intrepid trdv oil direct vent boiler. the boiler keeps locking out on a cad cell error. the ohms on the cad cell are to high around 2500 which I was told should be less then 1600.i can not find a air adjustment it seams to be getting to much air
