I am pretty handy and would like to tackle the replacement of the heater cover plate gasket
I assume you have to drain the boiler, if this is correct I will have to drain the whole system as the valves are old and I know will leak

If it was an RS series, I say go for it. If it is a "V" series, wait for warm weather, and hire someone to do it0
