Suntec A2VA-3006, Roth DWT 1000L - Carlin EZ Pro 1 - two tries to fire up only when Roth < ~1/2 full

If you close down the fuel valve going to the filter while the burner is running, you should be able to see the filter gauge start going up. This will verify if gauge is actually working. You can also shut the burner off and see if it is holding, which will also give you an idea of fuel line integrity. Sounds like you got it ok now though.

The burner is humming along very happily now after removing all of that garbage (missed the old filter in the list too) and adding in the Tigerloop. It took the oil tank getting down maybe about ~1/4 before there was anything registering on the vacuum gauge. I think the logical explanation of why that I tried to explain in the thread where I was asking if any of you used PRV-38s is that my pump is fed via gravity (oil line runs down, not up) and no vacuum is required to pull oil when the tank is full. Once the oil level goes down in tank a little I am able to see a reading (in the "green" range) on the vacuum gauge while it is running.0
