I am planning to replace a Vent Rite 35 on one of our mains with a Gorton 2. Since they are different sizes, what typeof adaptor should I order to make it fit?

ventrite 35 has 3/4 male and 1/2 female connections. how is it attached now? if with 1/2, then just use a 1/2 nipple. if with the 3/4 then 3/4x1/2 bushing and a 1/2 nipple0

Thanks! Right now it is attached with the 3/4 male. So I would want something like this? http://www.supplyhouse.com/Ward-FBHE3-4x1-2-3-4-x-1-2-Black-Hexagon-Bushing-746000-p Thanks again!0

That fitting will work fine to adapt up to a Gorton #2. Have you determined that you only need one Gorton #2? Also just to mention it the Gorton is a tall vent so make sure you have the room for it. Most people do, but some (like me) just don't have the clearance for it.0

Thanks to you both. I calculated the length of the main and think it should be enough. I'll double check the hight I've got available, but I'm thinking I should be good.0
