Just watched a video on this burner:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFmHXgz_4dk.
Really reminds me of the R35 model.
Things I noticed:
It doesn't appear to be a way to adjust the air tube insert depth.
You also need to remove the burner from the boiler and then remove the air tube to change the nozzle.
To remove the nozzle assembly you need to remove both the primary and secondary air covers.
They seem to have solved the leaking hydraulic jack and the merry-go-round electronic air shutter problems by dropping this feature. Not necessarily a bad idea.
Just watched the video one time so far. It was hard for me to justify the extra effort it took to replace parts on the R-40 model until I saw how dependable and efficient these burners where. So I'm keeping an open mind concerning this model. Just wondering if anyone out there has any experience with this new model.

Installed a Firebird boiler with one. No problems and incredibly quiet. They are OEM only,no adjustable flange. To learn more about this professional, click here to visit their ad in Find A Contractor.0

Just checked out your picture. Looks like new construction. Nice to see quality equipment being installed by a quality conscience installer.
