Feeder valve/air in the water line

I'm moving my hot water heater and have to cut the water line feeding my hot water boiler. This will obviously put air in the fresh water supply line going to boiler. What effect will this have on the boiler? Will I then have to purge the zones? Thanks for any and all help.

If there is a separate fill valve for the boiler/heating system, it is not normal to have to purge the system.0
