white rodgers primary control 668-401

in Oil Heating
i have a beckett af-15 oil furnace with a white rodger primary control part number 668-401 and it has went bad. can i swap it out with a honeywell r8184g4009?

    Yes. That's a 45 second control. Some might suggest switching to a faster control. But with that AF burner, it might start tripping out.

    Forget the 8184, it makes no difference if you go with a Genisys or equivalent. It will work
