Hi all, my gas fired hot water heater and my gas fired IN 5 boiler both exhaust into the same chimney. We use a lot of hot water in the house so it runs alot . I'm A home owner not pro, so im still learning . With that said. Question; Does the exhaust from the water heater help keep the chimney temp warmed up a bit in between cycles of the boiler ? Because i believe a warmed chimney is advantageous to better operation of boiler ? thanks
