May I point out, in the 2nd paragraph of the article:
"A study by the Department of Energy and Climate Change found that biomass boilers in the non-domestic sector were around 10-20 per cent less efficient than expected." (Please note: "non-domestic.")
Then they show a picture of a typical domestic-sized pellet boiler.
