I have an old Sears boiler. Pilot went out this morning. The pilot lighter comes on when I hold it down but does not light the pilot. I have 4 calls out but can't get anyone to call back to come to Ft Greene Brooklyn and help. Any suggestions for how to get pilot back on?
Old photo attached. Also attached manual someone on on Heating Help found for me. Pilot is pages 18-20 but nothing here helped.

There is a thermocoupler (they call it a Pilor Generator) shown on Figure #22 in the manual. They burn out periodically. If you can replace that, you probably will be back in business. Depending on what size/style it is, mostbig box hardware stores should have them in the heating dept. Maybe you can find a Sears partss store open.0
