Been installing Empyre outdoor and indoor models for the last three years. Have had really good luck, with the exception of the last one. All wiring was ran from the factory touching the stainless shell, and got burned to a crisp! Had to break the boiler shell off and re wire it all. Anyone else install empyre?

I have never worked with an Empyre. Are they using a stainless hx?
When you say stainless steel shell, are you talking about the outer shell of the hx?
Crispy electrical wires are never good! Good you caught and corrected it before it started a fire.0 -
Personally not a fan of open systems. If it was factory wiring can you get any factory support for your labor, take any pictures?
