small steamer

Ripped out a 30+ year old over sized steamer which was also piped incorrectly.
Installed properly sized peerless boiler. 3" drop header, wanted to go with two stage gas valve and vapostat for stage firing but homeowner didnt want to for the extra work.

    Beautiful install. TOO BAD they didn't go for the added efficiency of staging. Maybe they'll think about it and do it later.
    Two-pipe Trane vaporvacuum system; 1466 edr
    Twinned, staged Slantfin TR50s piped into 4" header with Riello G400 burners; 240K lead, 200K lag Btus. Controlled by Taco Relay and Honeywell RTH6580WF
