Is it best to actually use cleaners in my 100 year old pipes, or just flush it out several times before i put on my new HE boiler.
I did a ph test today on my water, but it might not be accurate .I have fish tanks, so i have ph tests, but it only goes up to 8.8. My piping system went to the top, so, good chance it's alot higher than that.
I live in chicago, and our water is 7.8 ph. Does the ph go high, with the debri in the water?
thanks
Mark
