When installing a condensing boiler or combi boiler on a system with coper baseboard where there is not a lot of water in the system are any of you professional heating contractors using the boiler buddy or other product like this to give the system more water mass to help the boiler to condense more of the time? If you have used this product how did theses jobs turn out? Take care Bob

A bit of a buffer tank will also help eliminate short cycles and provide hydraulic separation and air removal. If you have multiple, and especially small zones it can help keep the boiler running efficiently and with fewer cycles.
I have around a dozen actual job pics that contractors have sent me.
Also Siggy HDS program has a nice sizer module showing how the buffer handles small loads. If you know the boiler output, number and BTU size of the loads I can run some numbers for you.Bob "hot rod" Rohr
