Back up boiler high low temps

in Oil Heating
I have Electric Dual fuel with a Burnham / Beckett oil backup in my attached garage. The oil boiler continues to run and waste oil all winter as I feel the high low settings are too high. I don't know how to find the dials but I know they can and should be changed to eliminate this boiler running when not necessary. Where are these dials and what should they be set at?
