Low gauge piping

Here is a picture of how I did mine. Put a tee on top of the pigtail with a nipple out the top for the pressuretrol then mount the gauge on the tee with a nipple and elbow. The picture isn't the greatest. I also added a union on top of the pigtail so everything could be removed for cleaning the pigtail. Just a suggestion, but I would change the pigtail to brass if you can. It will be easier to clean and should actually stay cleaner overall.

I originally had my gauge similar to KC's but I kept getting water in it so I extended it up higher vertically from the elbow.

No unions on mine, though I may add one when I pipe the 3.0 PSI back in. I originally was going to just eliminate the 3.0 PSI gauge but I like having it to test and set my pressuretrol @ 1.5 PSI.

Christ J where did you get your pigtail? Did you get it online?

@Steaming101 it came with the boiler. However, I know supplyhouse.com has brass pigtails also.
