Didn't need a CO analyzer to figure out why this one was spilling (commercial water heater). Well done for sure.

Really now. Isn't it a bit early for thanksgiving?0

How the hell did a goose get in there? I've seen sparrows and chickadees in chimneys, but a goose? That's a new one...0

A neighbor called the gas company a few years ago because the old gas fired snowman smelled funny. When they inspected it they found the chimney blocked by a seagull that had hallen into it - it was a good sized bird.
I figure it was sitting on the chimney trying to get warm and inhaled too much.

A commercial water heater? Please tell me it was in a restaurant, because that would make this a much more funny story.0

Ha- unfortunately not, it was an apartment building. The weird part is this WH was tied in with another water heater and going into a masonry chimney. The goose got into the flue and past the 1st water heater all the way to the 2nd.0
