As the title alludes, this thread is on transformers. When shopping for transformers, there are many choices. I usually pick up what the supply house carries so I am never without a few.
Which one for which application?
While on the talk about transformers, how many of you install fuses on secondary side?

We use mostly FDI Power Supplies, which take care of a bunch of code requirements and make for a neat installation.1

I think the 26.5 and 27 VAC transformers are just 24VAC. They are probably listing no load voltage which can vary between 26-28VAC.
And no.. I don't think I've ever fused secondaries...0
