I have a vision pro 8000 for steam heat. I have it set to 1 cph per hour cycle. However went it calls for heat is there is a 2 or 3 degree setback it keeps running and short cycling until the temp is met. Is there any other setting I need to adjust. System type I set to 3 Heat only. Its a oil steam furnace.
Thanks

Wrote this in the other post as well....
Any thermostat setting is just a pre-programmed "guess". It's not an accurate setting. Short cycling is typically caused by an oversized boiler, undersized venting, or improper piping.0 -
Ok. I feel boiler is oversized. If I change nozzle to a smaller size would that help compensate?0

It depends on the connected radiator load and the current boiler model.0
