hanging a steam rad

in THE MAIN WALL
I'm about to replace a dinosaur steamer in Mass. They have an ancient steam radiator suspended in a plenum in the basement ceiling. This communicates its heat through a floor grill. It's a leaker & they don't want to be without it. They want a passive rad there & I'm not sure how to hang a new one! I'm looking at the Burnham 'recessed' rads & believe that will be a good selection. I'm not sure the best way to mount or hang this. Any suggestions? Thank you!

    That's an indirect radiator- where is it leaking from?

    You'll need a whole lot of radiator to replace the indirect radiator. They're basically boiler sections hanging from the ceiling.

    How much area is it heating? It as originally insttalled?

    You're right. Boiler sections are mounted there. I was looking at possibly a Modine w' a vertical throw, but the customer wants something passive.

    Not heating a large area. It's in the hall/foyer near the front door. The story is this is the spot the kids use to fight for when they came in from the cold. The floor grille is only 12X16.

    I think they want it more for posterity than functionality!
