I have a hot water baseboard loop that runs through a heat exchanger to pull heat from my steam boiler. Thanks to help on this forum it's now working for the first time since I bought the house.
As I get ready to run it, I started wondering how I know if it is appropriately full of water. I know it works -- the baseboards get hot when it's on -- so is that all I should care about or is there some other inspection/maintenance I should do to make sure all is well before I turn it on for the season?
