Cooling is going to be a big deal this time. Just got this:
High level of demand for cooling technology for buildings
ISH is the leading trade fair for sustainable sanitation solutions, innovative bathroom design, energy efficient heating technology combined with renewable energy and environmental air-conditioning, cooling and ventilation technology, as well as the networking of all these technologies. The next ISH will be held in Frankfurt am Main from 10 to 14 March 2015 under the motto ‘Comfort meets Technology’. The sector’s market and technology leaders have already signed up and Messe Frankfurt expects around 2,400 exhibitors from around the globe to present their latest products and services on 260,000 square metres of exhibition space. With a huge horizontal and vertical product spectrum, ISH is the world’s biggest event for water and energy technologies and covers future-oriented building solutions of every kind.
Trade visitors will find air-conditioning, cooling and ventilation technology under the name Aircontec in the ISH Energy section. There, the industry presents innovative components and systems that, in addition to high energy efficiency, ensure thermal comfort and interior-air quality. In this connection, concepts and solutions for modernising existing buildings and new construction work will be shown for both the residential and non-residential fields. The Aircontec exhibitors make their presentations in Halls 11.0 (e.g., EBM, GEA, Remko, Swegon, Trox, Wolf), 11.1 (e.g., Helios, Maico, Menerga, Schako, Systemair, Vortice) and 10.2 (Cabero, Cool Italia, Sortech, Thermofin). The trend subjects of the sector include systems integration, increased energy efficiency and the integration of renewable energies.
Building-related cooling technology has been a component part of ISH/Aircontec since 2007 and will be strengthened and expanded in Hall 10.2 at ISH 2015. Not only have important exhibitors from this segment, e.g., Cabero, Cool Italia and Rütgers, increased the size of their exhibition stands. They are also being joined by new key players, such as Carrier and Güntner, which represents a solid foundation for further strengthening building-related cooling technology at ISH.
Aircontec is represented by two major items on the complementary programme of events at ISH: The Climate Forum of the Building Climate Institute (Fachinstitut Gebäude Klima e.V. - FGK) will spotlight high-end solutions for increased energy efficiency in the non-residential field on graphic information boards. The solutions include sorption air-conditioning systems, highly efficient closed-cycle systems and reversible heat pumps. Additionally, the Association of German Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Companies (Verband Deutscher Kälte-Klima-Fachbetriebe e.V. – VDKF) and Messe Frankfurt have once again joined forces to organise the IKK Building Forum in Hall 10.2 at ISH 2015. There, specialist companies will present future-oriented system solutions for planners, engineers, architects, the innovative installation trade and facility managers. The exhibition will be supplemented by high-grade expert lectures in the adjoining lecture forum.
As in the past, there will also be an information and communication platform for the plant-construction and real-estate sectors and for planners and engineers. For the first time, the German Association of the Building Services and Technical Installation Industry (Bundesindustrieverband Technische Gebäudeausrüstung – BTGA) and VDMA Building Control and Management Association will jointly present everything for the new energy paradigm in relation to real estate and building modernisation in the Building Forum. Additionally, BTGA will once again hold the ‘BTGA Real Estate Forum’. To be organised this time in cooperation with the German Property Federation (Zentraler Immobilien-ausschuss – ZIA), the Forum will focus on particularly efficient examples of building services and technical installations for new and existing buildings. Moreover, there will be a presentation by the BBR Research Initiative on Tomorrow’s Building and the German Ministry for the Environment, Nature Protection, Building and Reactor Safety in Hall 10.3.
