honeywell RA890f1288 controller won't hold flame on or reset. Anyway to get heat for the tenants?

I've got an old steam boiler which I maintain, self taught using this web site as primary resource. I've currently got a ra890f1288 controller that I think is failing. I have voltages to it, have line voltage through water feed and pressuretrol circuit. Pressing left relay in ra890f will start burner but shuts self off after 1 minute or so. Electronic ignition, can't get pilot to light even with a torch.

Any thoughts? Time to call for service? ( After 5:00 pm on a Saturday of course. ) Thanks.

Oops, never mind - brain fart - didn't have "call for heat" temp set high enough.

Yes, call a pro to service it. Don't try lighting a system like this with a flame. If it's starting up but shuts down after a minute, it sounds like a flame detector/rod/uv detector might be kicking it off. It's hard to tell without being on site and watching/testing it as it's running. If the system hasn't been properly serviced in a while, a safety might need cleaning/replacing.

Don't try to mess with it to just get it going. It's a safety control. I believe the left relay is the load relay. You're sure the thermostat is calling for heat right?
