Upgrade Sage 2.1 software in Burnham Alpine?

Does anyone know if it's possible to upgrade the Sage 2.1 software without replacing the entire control board? The new software added a Response Speed parameter for DHW calls, which would likely solve a problem I've had since day one with my now-4-year-old ALP105.
