Navien Combi Boiler

I'm in the process of switching over from oil to NG.  I need to replace both the water heater and the boiler. I'm looking at the Navien combi boiler.  Looking at the NCB210 or NCB240.



I have a house with about 77KBTU worth of aluminum fin tubing and a wife that loves her never ending hot showers.  Location is in Virginia.



Will one of these combi units do the trick?  Besides annual flushing of the heat exchangers how often have you had problems?  Any other reccomendations?



Please avoid the whole cast iron vs. condensing argument.  I'm looking for specific experiance on combi boilers like the Navien.  Let me know if there is anything other information that might help.

Tankless

is over rated .  Look at these , they eliminate a lot of tankless issues . Just a bit better in my opinion .

The set up

I go out and service these machines,, as long as they are set up correctly they see to do the job. You need primary & secondary piping, make sure you get outdoor reset, if you want the job to be more efficient get the taco bumble bee pump or pumps.
