Assuming a 40-degree box temperature, the low side pressure for the R-22 system should be approximately 48 psig. The high side pressure will vary depending on a few issues. Is this an air-cooled or a water-cooled condenser? If air cooled, is the condenser located in the basement of the building? If water-cooled and the water entering temperature is 85-degrees (or, if the condenser is air-cooled and located inside) , the high side pressure should be in the range of 210 psig.
Hope this helps. There was an error rendering this rich post.
