has anyone seen this on the shelves yet? Looks like a nice timesaver and eliminates 1 crimp per length.

    Cost?

Saves a crimp and coupling but I don't see it being cost effective. How much time does it take to crimp two joints vs one? You already have the machine in your hand

    depends

on the cost of the tube. A 1-1/2" copper press coupling runs 25- 30 bucks (online prices)

So I'd pay an extra 10- 15 more for the tube with the press end. Cleaner look, also.

I suppose it appeals to installers running hundreds or thousands of feet of tube on jobs.

Like we see in every issue of the great "Viega Voice" magazine.

    That's

What I was thinking, who's going to stock em,

What I would like to see is more manufactures getting on board like webstone,

It would be nice if baseboard, zone valves, air separators to name a few things have press fittings.

    what about leak paths?

    is that a "must have"

I see Webstone has dual o-rings but no leak feature?

Do you use stiffners when you press onto baseboard tube?
