cast iron baseboard remodle

in Radiant Heating
have a project that has cast iron baseboard radiation 1960 approx install year. I cannot find a name or manufacturer. They are 45 ft.total length,how do these come apart? Can we make them smaller? and do we need a special tool to reassemble?  Thanks

    Yes, no, maybe

    Typically CI basboard are connected with push nipples and tie bolts. If you do not know the manufacturer post some pictures and we will see.
