Probe Type Level Switches

Has anyone had any experience using probe type level switches in lieu of the common float switch to start and stop a condensate pump?
Any experience, good or bad, as well as brand and other specific information would be greatly appreciated.

Probe type level switches
These switches have been used for a slightly different purpose by Gerry Gill, and Steve Pajek for their steam mini tube system as a pressure control. They may have some experiences to relate.--NBC0 -
