Radiators

I am replacing some old cast iron radiators with some new ones. The old radiators were piped with the supply and return piping at the bottom of the radiators, this was an old gravity type hot water system. I am also replacing the boiler, the new system will have a circulator pump. My question is: what is the best piping arrangement on the radiators as far as supply and return piping? Thank you.

Where are you located? If you are dead-set on getting rid of the old radiators, I will take them from you. Do not send them to a junkyard, please!

    Piping hot...

In the bottom, and out the top opposite corner from the inlet.

Low head/low flow pumps are a must, otherwise the water whips through the radiators so fast it doesn't have a chance to transfer the heat to the walls of the radiator.
