taking a hot water zone off of a steam boiler

hi guys looked at a job this week ,somebody took a zone of hydronics off the condensate side of a steam boiler . the apartment that has no heat is piped below the waterline of the boiler. when i got there the oo7 circ. was smoked so i changed it. opened the return to purge the systen and i had no water?noiced the supply and return both had purge valves?

Assumptions
At some point air got pumped into the zone. Since it is not pressurized, there is no way to get the air out. Use garden hoses to power purge it. This will deal with the issue at hand, not the ongoing problems it will have.0 -
You Should Use
A Stainless Steel or Bronze circulator, not a regular 007.
