hi guys i have this radiator on the second floor that dont heat up at all heat up only when the cycle is long .as the broiler is making steam i'm touching the pipe wher is taken off from the main and its hot ,just don get to the radiator ,so if the main gets steam ,i don't think i after add a main vent , should i drill\tap the radiator , and add one other vent? what would be the best place /?THANKS IN ADVANCE.JOE

blocked vent?
I am far from being an expert, but had the same problem a couple of weeks ago. Turns out the vent on the radiator was old and blocked. I bought a new vent right for that size radiator, and now it works fine.0
