Pipe Hammering

Main issue is loud pipe hammering (consistently off and on). New Weil-McLain EP/PEG Series 5 gas boiler installed a year ago with this problem ever since. Installer has not been able to solve and advises main cause is rust. Pressure gauge to set to 1.5 and to less than 1-psi subtractive cut-in pressure now. This was done due to a kind expert's email advice and whose advice included my presenting this for discussion on The Wall.
I have attached picts 81, 82, 84, 85, 86 and 89
I am definitely a novice/layperson and I extend advance thanks for any help I can get..

I just noticed that looks like a counter-flow system and I have no experience with that although to me, I don't see that header working.Single pipe 392sqft system with an EG-40 rated for 325sqft and it's silent and balanced at all times.

Boiler is installed wrong. Find a copy of the instruction manual, that the installer threw out, and throw it at him.0 -
Boiler piped wrong
As Chris and joe said there is no equalizer on the header that bull head tee has go not enough height from the water line to the bottom of the header. Plus I don't see any steam main vents on that system0
