Propane crisis and comfort

One thing to consider with the sudden high cost of fuel is that hydronic heat in its various forms can feel comfortable at lower constant temperatures.
Our neighbors with forced air don't have the same comfort at 60 degrees as we do.
If you dust off the SlantFin heat loss app for your house, you could probably play around with the indoor temperature settings and find out what interior setting gives the biggest bang for the propane gallon.
A little weatherstripping could go a long way as well.--NBC
