Spitting Valve

I'm getting a good 1/2 cup of water per day out of my bathroom radiator vent. I've tried 4 different types of vents, and each one spits.

Some of my other radiators sound like they are wet when they hiss, but I haven't noticed any more than a drop on any of the vents. I do notice that some of the inlet valves hiss and "sound wet," if that makes any sense.

Is this as simple as repacking the valves in question?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

    Start here

Sounds like there is water in your rads that hasn't made its way back to the boiler. I would start by checking the pitch of your rads, and make sure they're draining properly. But, I'm no expert.

    Pitched

Thank you. They're all pitched, at least slightly (I've been warned that pitching too far could damage the pipes). I could add another shim under the radiator that's spitting. I'm concerned it might be something more serious, however.

    One more thing...

I should also note that the water in the sight glass looks awfully brown and I see water droplets at the top. Is it time for a skim?
