kick space heater with steam

  I would like to connect a kick space heater to a steam boiler using the tappings on the boiler below the water line. I will be using heat pex a circulator with a relay. Does the circulator need to have a brass body because essentially its an open loop system.

Yes it should be a stainless steel or bronze. I would also suggest not using a wet rotor pump but an air cooled model.

If you do use a wet rotor put a 100 micron strainer with a drain before the pump.
