can a extrol tank increase in air pressure by itself on system or would someone have to pump air in? i have from time to time found more than 12 psi in tanks when dropping system to 0 psi to check and had to lower them on single or two story homes.

They may have been
over-charged at the factory and the original installer did not check for proper pressure. All Steamed Up, Inc.

extrol
always told you can check pressure in extrol if system is dropped to 0 psi. is it better to pull tank off system?0 -
I like
I like an isolation valve between the expansion tank and the system and a boiler drain between the expansion tank and the isolation valve. You don't want any water pressure on the tanks bladder to influence the air pressure.0
