Honeywell sparco power track

Hello. I have a system that is about 10 years old and has 4 zones. Originally there was all Honeywell sparco zone valves (thermostat calls for heat, and the zone opens AND boiler turns on). After a few years of use the zones I use the most have had the zone valves fail. They either didn't operate to open the zone, or if they opened the valve-they do not call for boiler to turn on. Now it seems I'm at the point of changing them about every year (at least 1 if not 2). Note: one zone has the original honeywell, I'm figuring because I just don't heat the garage zone.
Is there a more reliable device to use, instead of going in circles when the heating season is here?
Any help/advise/info is greatly appriciated. jeff
