Dampers for Trane Concealed Heaters

Apologies in advance for double-posting this query - I'm trying to get as many sources as possible.  I'm wondering if

anyone knows of dampers that will work for replacing removed dampers for

a Trane concealed heater system. Some have been plastered over in my

building and should be replaced.



Any suggestions for where to

search? The convectors themselves are still in place, just the

damper/register combinations have been removed and plastered over

(seriously) which has led to cold rooms.

There are a couple of pieces of literature on these units in the Library (thanks to Steamhead) that might help. If they don't shed any light on your particular question I hope you'll at least find them interesting for their historical value.

Thanks, yes, I've already seen and printed those. What I need to find are replacements for plastered over grills and dampers - some of my neighbors literally plastered over active convectors (and then got upset when we insisted that they open the wall to access the traps).
