Change in Beckett AFG specs for Mega Steam MST 396 ?

Browsing Beckett's OEM Spec guide and noticed two entries for the Megasteam MST 396. They have a pre March 2013 and a post March 2013. The newer setup has the pressure bumped up to 180 and of course a smaller nozzle.
Why would they do this and which one should be used.
