My pressuretrol is currently set to 5# main, 4# subtractive differential, which, based on all that I've been reading, I think is set way too high. I aim to move it down to 2# main with a 1# differential, but want to know what to look for regarding potential problems as a result (accounting for the slight possibility that the pressure was set this high for a good reason).
Is the main thing to watch for short cycling (i.e., the boiler cutting out before all of the radiators are fully heated because of inadequate venting)? Or are there other things I should keep an eye on?
