Sizing Radiator for Bathroom

Hypothetically speaking, should a radiator's BTU output match the room size exactly? My bathroom has a 6 section, roughly 20" high radiator 2 column...EDR of about 2800 BTUs I think.
This site: http://www.calculator.net/btu-calculator.html puts my bathroom 5x8x8 at needing 7500 BTUs.
I am expanding the bathroom a little bit so the radiator will be a little undersized. In practice should the radiator closely match? Bathroom was previously uninsulated, and now it will be.
