Running 2 CPH finally and loving it!

2cph is back
Mark N, I agree.
Last night and this morning we were back into the teens again and I had enough of the 3-4 degree swings and finally decided to go back to 2 cph. I didn't notice any thing bad happen other then the system seemed to go right back to the fantastic behavior I had seen before. A 1 degree swing or less and the house just feels perfect in every room.
At this point I may just put up with it occasionally running the burner and shutting down before it produces steam on more mild days. Fact is I didn't see that until it was in the 50s and 60s out. In the end the fuel isn't totally wasted anyway as the water won't cool down much before she fires back up. 2 cph on normal winter days just works way too nice to give it up.Single pipe quasi-vapor system. Typical operating pressure 0.14 - 0.43 oz. EcoSteam ES-20 Advanced Control for Residential Steam boilers. Rectorseal Steamaster water treatment0
