Water-side HX Cleaning?

Does anyone have suggestions for flushing the water side of Vitodens 200 hx besides backflushing for 10-15 minutes? I'm not quite getting the flow rate through that it's capable of. I got quite a bit of crud out, it's better but not best. Is something like CLR ok?

I would use
Vinegar if its lime and muratic acid if its rust. rinse well then rinse again. What type of system was it and what conditon was it in prior to the boiler install?0 -

Water-side HX Cleaning?
It's all relatively new. Installed 2010 w/wall hung radiators and DHW, replacing forced air. Good flow through heating loops, but HX gummed up w/black boiler crud. I know original fill of system was not with soft water, but didn't think the flow should go down from 5-6 gpm to 1 gpm in a couple of years...0 -
If its all newer piping what did the service tech say?
And as kcopp said if its newer radiant I would clean with the Rhomar products and would get this kit ...http://www.rhomarwater.com/media/W-Boiler-Chem-Kit.pdf
Why is this happening in just 3 years?
Unless you know how to handle toxic and corrosive material you should probably not use the muriatic acid.0
