Are there any trick to get them "unfrozen"? Have some that just will not move. 4 family with BIG radiators, hate to drain the system now to try to install new valves. wondering if anyone has a trick that might work.

Frozen valve
Can you post a picture?
Sometimes the packing nut can be loosened, and that will free the valve stem.
Make sure the fill valve is closed!--NBC0 -
I have a few myself.
I had 3 of the upstairs ones replaced this year, but there are 2 more that it would be handy if I could actually close them part of the way down. The only thing that gets me a bit nervous is if you land up breaking them and then having to replace them as an emergency. Has anyone had any luck freeing them up with Krill oil or PB Blaster?
