    The end of main comes back to the boiler an is

    Back pitched before the main vents

    Making them useless an causing the condensate

    To back up the main

    That is a cool video.  If you watch the vortexes being formed by the steam, they ebb and flow which may mean there is water in the main?  Looks like a pulsing action.  I recall Dan talking about this in TLAOSH with "waves of water" alternately and exposing the riser to steam.  Or maybe just a ghost; that's cool, too.

    10 ' from main

    This was a ceiling radiator 10 ' from a 4" main

    In the basement apt.while boiler was in high fire

    Fire for an hour

    Going to use a water level to check pitch

    On main today and repipe drip return

    Will skim boiler too

    Found boiler leaking out the chimney

    She's a leaker tried some boiler liquid no luck
