First I hear Viessmann pulls out of the AHR show in NYC at Javits Center in January. What? That's in the middle of boiler country in their own backyard.
This week I heard they laid off several people restructuring the sales force with some demotions. Laid off during heating season? Why not just fess up and terminate them? If you don't need them in heating season, you think they have a chance of being called back in January?
What is going on? Reducing their presence in the US?

Surprised
I was surprised not to see them on the vendor list. On the other hand, the product is poorly represented in the NW but at least Ferguson picked up the line and has a decent sales force.0 -
I predict
that sales of the new B2HA and 222-F lines will be quite good.0 -

viessmann
I would not be surprised. In general US market is resisting high efficiency boilers at all levels. New technologies like co generation and tri generation are not accepted in USA and Viessman does not even consider to introduce it to US market. So, what they going to show off? Their condensing boilers? it is yesterday technology and this yesterday is not even today here.Gennady Tsakh

They once were
They were on the list but cancelled their booth space 2-3 months ago?
I thought no big deal what will they show, combi maybe?
But the other big changes make me think it's runs deeper
Take Wilo for example, they haven't given up and are showing recent promise for fitting in.0
