A Copelametic 3/4 H.P. comp that I put in, in 1985 just expired yesterday.! Who says American products don't last. 7 days a week, 12-18 hrs a day ,for 28 years.

    It is.I think they should last no longer then a car.Listen people if you get a new car every 8 years you should spring for a new hvac system as well.Smiley face inserted here.Forget the Maytag man we have tech-man
