...near Ithaca. Any worthy Steam / Heating related places to check out before going home?

We're renting a house. It has steam. First room I need to see is the basement...what a disaster of an installation. Oh boy...should have brought some wrenches.

    Williams Mansion!!!

I remember JLK's many threads concerning the Williams Mansion which he owns. Here's his first: http://www.heatinghelp.com/forum-thread/145045/Best-replacement-for-old-Crown-c-247-steam-boiler

Look up his name to find the rest.

He did put the Midco lonox on his new boiler! Go check it out and report back. This was an historic register building if I recall correctly. Cornell has some pretty awesome architecture, but I'm not sure if they'll let you in the boiler rooms! Oh, and you have to eat at the Moosewood, although I hear it's a bit spendy these days.

    JLK

I contacted JLK. Haven't heard back yet. Currently trying to convince my wife to go to Steamtown. That may be another trip...
